Daniel Orson Ybarra

Born in Uruguay, Daniel Orson Ybarra began his art studies at the age of 12 through a correspondence drawing course program from Mexico.

In 1984, Ybarra moved to Geneva and since then spends his time between Geneva and Barcelona where he collaborates with architects on projects relating to the study of space and its relation to light.

Daniel Orson Ybarra works with watercolor, gouache, acrylic, wax, resins, pigments, oil and also makes collages. These striking paintings explore the nature of growth and metamorphosis.
